In 1962, Peter and Lorraine Grader founded Grader Jewelers with just $350, a relentless work ethic, and a big dream. Combining Peter’s precision and craftsmanship with Lorraine’s accounting degree and business expertise, they built a foundation grounded in trust, integrity, and genuine customer care.
What began as a modest dream in Norwich, Connecticut, has blossomed into a beloved, third-generation family business with two premier showroom locations—one in Groton and the other in Norwich, Connecticut.

Today, the legacy continues under the leadership of President Mark Grader, who grew up learning the trade from a young age, and Vice President Linda Grader, who oversees human resources and operations.
